What is Art Clay Silver?
Water and a binding have been added to the silver to make it behave like clay. You can shape the clay into your own designs. Thereafter it is dried and then heated with a kiln, stove or gas torch. The water and the binding vaporize after which only the pure silver remains. The silver can then be polished to a shine. In the jewelry store they call this 'fine silver', which means it has no copper or nickel, so no allergic reactions!
Art Clay Silver was developed in Japan about 20 years ago, after which it took the world by storm. It is available in the Netherlands since 2005. Silversmiths love this material for its organic and supple way of working.

1- day workshops  ( 2,5 / 3,5 or 5 hours)
All workshops are given in our nice studio in small groups. You are professionally guided through the whole process. At the end of the workshop you will be the proud owner of unique hand made silver jewelry of your own design. You can practice your design in regular clay before we start working with the silver.

10-rittenkaart (10 lessons card)
If you would like to work on larger projects or just want to continue working with this great material, you can make use of the 10-rittenkaart (10 lessons card). With it you get 10 times 2,5 hours to work on either your own projects. You can combine the silver with glass, gemstones, natural stones, gold leaf etc. and you can even use a syringe to make beautifully refined jewelry.

Childrens party
Make your own pendant with Art Clay Silver. Everyone will go home with their own unique piece of silver jewelry at the end of the workshop Time 2 / 2,5 hours, minimum age 10, price 25 euro per child. This includes soft drinks & snacks.

Company party, Girlfriends night out/hen party
Create your own pendant with Art Clay Silver. Everyone will go home with their own unique piece of silver jewelry at the end of the workshop. Time 1,5 up to 3,5 hours. Price varies depending on number of participants.

Ingrid La Haye is officially trained to be ACS-instructor level 1 and 2. She is also trained in using the supplements gold, glass, UV raisin & kumihimo.
